Senior Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct timely failure analysis and problem-solving for QC rejects, customer returns, and other quality-related issues.
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate quality data to identify process and product improvement opportunities.
• Identify and prioritize appropriate test conditions based on product risks, critical features, and quality requirements.
• Support Operations and Engineering teams in identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, productivity, and process efficiency, with a focus on achieving zero defects.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans to address process and product quality issues.
• Develop, review, and revise acceptance and rejection criteria based on quality requirements and product specifications.
• Conduct internal Quality Management System (QMS) audits and process audits.
• Lead cross-functional projects involving multiple departments to resolve quality issues and deliver improvement initiatives within agreed timelines.
• Monitor and drive productivity improvements related to QC activities.
• Prepare quality reports, presentations, and relevant documentation for management review.
• Ensure assigned projects and tasks are completed effectively and within the required deadlines.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required by the Company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and problem-solving.
• Experience in conducting process audits and quality system audits.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including report writing and presentation preparation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and ISO 14001 will be an added advantage.
• Good attendance, reliability, and commitment to assigned responsibilities.
