Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We have a unique opportunity for a proven Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in commercial fit out and refurbishment projects looking to take the next steps in their career development.

You will contribute to and manage oversight of various projects’ deliverables, contributing to the successful delivery of our construction and refurbishment projects including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting. This role is based out of our Queenstown office, with commercial oversight on projects across New Zealand. You will work closely with the rest of the project team to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to an exceptional level of quality.

Skills and experience

• Experience in both large and small scale commercial fit out and refurbishment projects. Experience on hotel & hospitality projects preferred but not essential
• 5+ years Construction Quantity Surveying experience
• Experience in pre-construction and ECI delivery models
• Sound knowledge of NZS3910 and NZS3916 contracts
• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
• Experience in estimating, cost planning, project financial reporting and management
• Ability to effectively use Procore, Microsoft Excel and Financial Reporting Systems
• Knowledge of site OH&S and Safety Management
