About the role
A Quantity Surveying role managing pre- and post-contract activities, cost control, and commercial aspects of construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Manage pre- and post-contract quantity surveying activities
- Prepare budgets, cost estimates, BOQs, tenders, valuations, and final accounts
- Manage variations, claims, contracts, and cost control
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Advise on procurement, costs, and commercial risks
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams
- Lead and supervise the QS team
About you
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- 5–10+ years of relevant experience in construction/QS
- Strong knowledge of contracts, cost control, and local construction practices
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Proficient in Excel and relevant QS software
