Senior Quantity Surveyor - MEP

• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts for MEP works

• Monitor project costs and report variances against approved budgets

• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives

• Measure MEP works accurately in accordance with contract and standard methods of measurement

• Prepare, submit, and evaluate interim payment applications

• Certify subcontractor payments and verify work progress

• Identify, prepare, and evaluate variations and change orders

• Prepare and assess claims related to time and cost (EOT, prolongation, etc.)

• Maintain proper records to support commercial claims

• Assist in administration of MEP contracts (FIDIC or similar forms)

• Draft and manage contractual correspondence with clients, consultants, and subcontractors

• Ensure compliance with contract conditions and company procedures

• Prepare tender documents and commercial evaluations for MEP subcontract packages

• Participate in negotiations and subcontract awards

• Monitor subcontractor performance from a commercial perspective

• Prepare monthly cost reports, financial statements, and forecasts

• Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation

• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Planning, and Procurement teams

• Attend project meetings and provide commercial input

• Support QS Manager in overall commercial management of the project

Desired Candidate Profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying
