Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor

Far East Consortium International Ltd (FEC, HKSE: 35) is a leading regional conglomerate specializing in property development and investment, hotel operations and management in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe.

 To meet with our fast expansion plan, we are recruiting Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor, with attractive remuneration and good promotion opportunity, under the following requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cost management of multiple of high-profile projects across the regions, mainly in Hong Kong, UK and Australia.
• Prepare tender documents and pre-contract tendering support for project
• Perform cost review and analysis on tenders and awards
• Perform cost estimates, cost data analysis, measurement and post-contract administration including valuation of variations and settlement of final accounts
• Review and handle contractual claims
• Evaluate project estimates and expenditure forecast information to support budget planning process
• Oversee project cash flow and prepare financial reports
• Running cost audits for our group’s projects worldwide; and
• Other assignments given by the Company

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying
• Professional Qualification in Quantity Surveying from recognized professional bodies
• At least 10 years solid Quantity Surveying experience for SQS and 6 years for QS, in consultant firms or Real Estate Developer
• Good knowledge in cost estimating, planning and scheduling for Real Estate Developer
• Sensitive to cost / contractual issues and capable of advising solutions to the project team
• Self-motivated, proactive, hard-working and result-oriented
• Travel overseas may be required
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
