Senior Quantum Engineer

For one of our clients based in Europe, we are currently looking for a Quantum Engineer.

Details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: 6 months with extension
• Remote work with occasional on-site team sessions in Prague
• US hours overlap : Min. 2–6 pm CET (ideally until 7 pm CET)

Scope:

• Design and implement quantum algorithms (e.g., Shor’s, Grover’s, VQAs).
• Develop solutions using IBM Qiskit and D-Wave (Leap/Ocean, QUBO modeling).
• Work with gate-based quantum systems and quantum annealing platforms.
• Build hybrid quantum–classical applications using Python.
• Apply ML/DL techniques where appropriate.
• Contribute to research and innovation initiatives.

Skills:

• 5 years of experience (in quantum computing/algorithms/cryptography).
• Strong understanding of linear algebra and quantum mechanics (entanglement, superposition, error correction).
• Hands-on experience with IBM Qiskit and/or D-Wave platforms.
• Strong Python skills (C++ or Julia is a plus).
• Knowledge of quantum optimization (QUBO), quantum cryptography, and quantum NLP.
• Understanding of ML/DL techniques and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems.
• Research publications in quantum computing.
• Background in Generative AI or Data Science.
