Senior R&D Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Responsibilities:

• Convert to design for manufacturing, SOP development, verification planning and development.
• Prepare mechanical drawings and industrial design drawings.
• Assist mechanical and electronics installation.
• Design prototypes according to features and specifications.
• Provide technical execution and coordination for experimental set-ups & preclinical trials.
• Review and prepare documentations such as functional specification, technical specification and test plan.
• Assist vendor negotiation and site examination.
• Support overall robotics system development.
• Optimize robotics instrument design and fabrication.
• Work with the team to identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, formulate solutions and execute the plan.
• Support any other tasks as assigned by team lead.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor or above degree in engineering or in a related discipline.
• Preferred 2 year experience in related field.
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and Key Shot.
• Experience in solution sourcing and procurement is a plus.
• Responsible, independent with strong problem-solving skills. Team spirit and ability to work under pressure.
• Innovative and research minds are preferred.
• Frequent travel is required.
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior R&D Engineer.
