Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for R&D initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of enterprise software projects.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project and Jira, ensuring timely milestones and deliverables.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Oversee the creation of detailed test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate software functionality against specifications.
• Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across software development, IT infrastructure, databases (SQL, Oracle), and cloud computing platforms such as AWS.
• Implement Agile methodologies like SAFe and Kanban for flexible project planning and continuous improvement.
• Utilize project management tools such as TFS, VersionOne, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint), and Visio for documentation and communication.
• Drive release management activities including deployment planning, disaster recovery procedures, and post-release support.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, issues, and change management processes.
• Lead technical project teams in adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), PMBOK standards, and IT governance policies.
• Support enterprise solutions implementation by coordinating testing phases, analyzing results, and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Foster a culture of innovation by promoting Test-driven development (TDD) practices and continuous integration strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex IT projects within an enterprise software environment with a focus on technology-driven solutions.
• Strong supervisory skills in technical project & program management roles with demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams.
• Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile (SAFe), Waterfall, and hybrid approaches; certification in PMP or equivalent is preferred.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Jira, TFS, VersionOne, Microsoft Project; expertise in scheduling and resource allocation is essential.
• Deep understanding of SDLC processes, requirements gathering techniques, risk management practices, and user acceptance testing procedures.
• Technical proficiency in cloud computing platforms like AWS; experience with databases (SQL & Oracle), IT infrastructure management, disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with enterprise software development lifecycle including release management and software implementation best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement across diverse teams; negotiation skills are highly valued.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate technical options critically while aligning with business goals.
