At Respect, we're looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Senior Registered Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on clinical care with leadership, mentoring and quality improvement in a supportive residential aged care environment.

Working closely with the General Manager, Care Manager and broader clinical team, you'll play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and guiding other nursing and care staff.

  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and care planning
  • Monitor residents' health and respond to changes in clinical condition
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with best practice
  • Support the management of complex clinical needs
  • Assist with clinical audits, documentation and quality improvement activities
  • Contribute to accreditation readiness and compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Promote a positive, collaborative and resident-focused team culture
  • Work closely with the leadership team to continually improve resident outcomes

This role offers the opportunity to remain involved in resident care while developing your leadership skills and contributing to the ongoing success of the home.

You're an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and supporting others to succeed.

You'll also bring:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (or eligibility to obtain registration)
  • Experience in residential aged care or a similar clinical setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for mentoring and supporting other nurses and care staff
  • Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Strong documentation and care planning skills
  • A commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement
  • Confidence using clinical software and Microsoft Office
