Senior Reliability Engineer

About the role

This role focuses on developing and optimizing the plant's Asset Reliability Strategy, leading defect elimination and continuous improvement initiatives, implementing digitalization and predictive maintenance programs, and championing a culture of continuous improvement across the engineering department.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize the plant's Asset Reliability Strategy utilizing RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) methodologies
• Establish and periodically review the Asset Criticality Ranking to prioritize maintenance execution, resource allocation, and spare parts optimization
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major chronic or catastrophic equipment failures, ensuring systemic corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented
• Analyze plant downtime data, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) to identify bad actors and structural bottlenecks
• Apply statistical tools (e.g., Weibull Analysis, Crow-AMSAA, or Process Capability) to predict asset life expectancy and optimize preventive maintenance frequencies
• Own and scale the site's Predictive Maintenance program, incorporating technologies such as Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, Oil/Fluid Analysis, and Ultrasound
• Leverage CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) to extract data, monitor asset health trends, and build predictive maintenance dashboards
• Support Smart Factory initiatives by integrating Industrial IoT (IIoT) sensors for real-time condition monitoring of critical assets
• Champion TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles, closely collaborating with Production teams to enhance Autonomous Maintenance (AM) capabilities
• Provide technical mentorship, coaching, and training to junior reliability engineers, maintenance planners, and technicians
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and precision maintenance across the engineering department.

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5–8+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, asset management, or reliability engineering
• Experience in FMCG or highly automated processing environments is highly preferred
