Senior Reliability Engineer | MarTech & Customer Platforms

Remote | Full-Time | $160,000–$190,000 Base Salary

We’re partnered with a world-class global brand undergoing a major digital transformation across its customer, marketing and data landscape.

They are looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer with a strong background across Salesforce, MarTech, CRM and customer data platforms to take ownership of the reliability and operational health of their marketing technology ecosystem.

This is not a traditional infrastructure SRE role and is not a Salesforce development position .

The focus is on monitoring, observability, production support, incident management and reliability across complex marketing platforms, customer data flows, integrations and customer journeys.

The Opportunity

You’ll work across a business-critical MarTech ecosystem spanning Salesforce, enterprise marketing platforms, CRM, customer data, campaigns, digital experiences and integrations .

Your role will be to understand how data and customer journeys move between these platforms, identify issues before they impact customers, and continually improve the monitoring, reliability and support model surrounding them.

You'll work closely with Marketing, CRM, Data, Engineering, Analytics and technology partners.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Own reliability across Salesforce, CRM, customer data and marketing technology platforms .
• Monitor customer data flows, integrations, APIs, campaigns and customer journeys.
• Build and improve monitoring, dashboards, alerting and observability .
• Identify data quality, data freshness, integration and platform issues before they impact customers.
• Lead production incidents, technical troubleshooting, recovery and root-cause analysis.
• Develop runbooks, operational controls, SLIs/SLOs and reliability standards.
• Improve release readiness and production support processes.
• Automate repetitive operational and monitoring processes using technologies such as Python, JavaScript, Bash or SQL .
• Work cross-functionally across Marketing, CRM, Data Engineering, Analytics and Digital teams.
• Partner with platform vendors and engineering teams to resolve complex production issues.

What We're Looking For

The key to this role is combining MarTech platform knowledge with a reliability mindset .

You'll ideally have:

• Strong hands-on experience supporting Salesforce-based marketing or customer platforms .
• Experience with technologies such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce CRM and/or Salesforce Loyalty Management .
• Experience of enterprise marketing platforms such as Adobe or comparable enterprise marketing ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of CRM, customer data, marketing automation and data movement between enterprise platforms.
• Experience supporting complex, business-critical applications in production.
• Strong experience with monitoring, observability, incident management and production support .
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, data pipelines and how information moves between interconnected platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• SQL experience and scripting/automation capability using Python, JavaScript, Bash or similar.
• Experience working across multiple teams and communicating technical incidents to technical and business stakeholders.
