Hampton by Hilton is a newly built 253 bedroom hotel and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive Duty Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent leadership, strong organisational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Food & Beverage assistant to join our Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will support the restaurant team with food service, cleaning and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy team environment and is looking to develop their skills and experience in a professional kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservations via phone, email, and online systems in a timely and professional manner
• Process bookings accurately using the Property Management System (PMS)
• Upsell room types and promote hotel services to maximise revenue
• Respond to guest inquiries about rates, availability, and hotel facilities
• Liaise with the front office and revenue teams to ensure accuracy of bookings and special requests
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge about the hotel and local area
• Manage group reservations and update rooming lists as required
• Follow all company procedures, including GDPR and data protection compliance
• Monitor daily arrivals, cancellations, and no-shows, and communicate effectively with other departments
• Assist with reporting and reservation audits when required

Front Desk Operations

• Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel property management systems (PMS).
• Process payments accurately, including cash, credit card, and room charges.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless service delivery**.**

Problem-Solving and Emergency Handling

• Address guest concerns and resolve issues to maintain a positive experience.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or safety concerns, following established protocols.

Other Responsibilities

• Complete tasks and duties as directed by the Line Manager to ensure efficient hotel operations.
• Uphold Hilton’s service standards to deliver a consistent and high-quality guest experience.
• Follow all company policies, including those related to data security, cash handling, and confidentiality.
