About Us

Medical Healthcare Solutions, Inc. (MHS) is an established third-party medical billing and revenue cycle management company serving physician practices and ambulatory surgery centers across multiple specialties. With over 30 years of experience, we provide comprehensive billing, coding, accounts receivable management, financial reporting, and revenue cycle solutions to healthcare organizations.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Cycle Performance Manager who combines strong medical billing operations expertise with exceptional analytical, communication, and client relationship management skills.

Position Overview

This is an opportunity for an experienced revenue cycle professional who enjoys both operational management and direct client engagement.

The ideal candidate will oversee assigned client accounts and billing personnel while serving as a primary point of contact for clients, including physicians, practice administrators, surgery center executives, and board members.

This individual must be comfortable independently leading client meetings, presenting financial and operational performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement, and confidently addressing detailed revenue cycle questions.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can independently analyze data, generate reports, manage staff, and provide meaningful insight into client performance.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relations & Performance Management

  • Independently lead monthly and quarterly client meetings, presenting revenue cycle performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, administrators, executives, and board members.
  • Analyze and explain financial and operational trends, including collections, charges, accounts receivable, aging, denials, and reimbursement performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue cycle performance and communicate actionable recommendations to clients.
  • Respond confidently to client inquiries and provide timely follow-up on operational and financial concerns.

Revenue Cycle Operations & Staff Management

  • Directly supervise billing personnel and oversee the daily operations of assigned client accounts.
  • Monitor claim submission, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, denials, and collection activity.
  • Ensure billing staff are effectively managing outstanding claims, resolving issues, and meeting productivity and performance expectations.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies, implement corrective actions, and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client concerns are addressed and service expectations are met.

Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Independently generate, review, and analyze revenue cycle reports from practice management and reporting systems.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to manipulate large datasets, develop pivot tables, analyze trends, and prepare financial and operational summaries.
  • Monitor KPIs and investigate changes in financial performance.
  • Prepare professional, accurate, and meaningful reporting materials for client meetings.
  • Translate complex billing and financial information into clear explanations and recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5years of progressive experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience independently conducting client-facing or executive-level meetings and presenting financial or operational performance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the medical billing revenue cycle, including claims processing, payer reimbursement, denials, accounts receivable, and collections.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently investigate performance issues and develop solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the confidence to present to physicians, executives, and other healthcare leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize competing responsibilities, and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for a third-party medical billing or revenue cycle management company.
  • Revenue cycle management experience in one or more of the following specialties:
  • Gastroenterology
  • Orthopedics
  • Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs)
  • Primary Care / Internal Medicine
  • Allergy & Immunology
  • Podiatry
  • Pain Management
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential or demonstrated medical coding experience.
  • Familiarity with revenue cycle KPIs, financial reporting, and reimbursement analysis.
  • Experience with Veradigm (Allscripts), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), or similar reporting platforms.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be more than an experienced billing manager. We are seeking a professional who understands the operational details of medical billing, can independently evaluate financial performance, and is equally comfortable managing employees and representing our organization in high-level client meetings.

This position is well suited for a self-motivated, analytical, and confident leader who takes ownership of client accounts and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

  • Annual salary: $75,000–$95,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
  • Full-time, hybrid position based in Andover, Massachusetts.
  • Occasional travel to client meetings may be required.

  • 11 paid company holidays annually.
  • Paid vacation and other paid time off in accordance with MHS policies and applicable Massachusetts law.
