Senior Revit BIM Modeler (Structural) - Full-Time

Struvek is a US-registered engineering delivery company serving AEC firms. We produce Revit models, construction drawing sets and coordinated BIM deliverables for structural and civil engineering projects, working directly with US engineers and project managers. We are building a design-engineering team that delivers production-ready sheets on schedule, and we are looking for an expert Revit modeler to be one of its first senior members.

The role

You will build structural Revit models and produce complete drawing sets from engineer markups, PDFs and CAD files, to US standards. You will own your models from setup to issued sheets, check your own work before it goes out, and help us set the quality standard for the team as it grows. This is a hands-on production role with real responsibility, working on projects for US clients.

Responsibilities

• Build accurate, well-organized Revit Structure models (foundations, slabs, columns, beams, steel framing, concrete, masonry, light-gauge and timber) from engineer sketches, PDFs and CAD drawings.
• Produce complete construction document sets: plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, notes and general notes sheets, with correct tagging, dimensioning and annotation.
• Set up projects: levels, grids, worksets, linked models, view templates, sheet organization and shared coordinates.
• Create and maintain custom Revit families (structural framing, connections, annotation symbols) and project templates.
• Follow client BIM standards, naming conventions and level-of-development (LOD) requirements.
• Coordinate with architectural and MEP models in Navisworks or Revizto; run clash detection and help resolve issues.
• Perform model QA/QC: geometry checks, parameter and data validation, model health checks, and a self-review before every delivery.
• Respond to US engineer markups and RFIs quickly and accurately; track revisions.
• Estimate your own tasks, flag risks early and meet delivery dates.
• Mentor junior modelers and review their work as the team grows.

Required qualifications

• 4 or more years of hands-on production experience in Revit (Structure required), on real building projects.
• A portfolio of drawing sets you produced (sheets, not only 3D screenshots). Please share it with your application.
• Strong understanding of structural drawing conventions: framing plans, foundation plans, sections, details, schedules.
• Experience producing documents from engineer markups and PDF or CAD backgrounds.
• Strong Revit family and template skills, including parametric families.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Clear written English, since you will communicate directly with US engineers by email and chat.
• Comfortable working US-overlap hours [confirm].

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Navisworks, Revizto or other model coordination tools.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360.
• Familiarity with US standards and practices (AISC, ACI, IBC) and US drawing conventions (imperial units).
• Experience with steel or precast detailing, or with Tekla, SDS2 or Advance Steel.
• Dynamo or scripting for automation.
• Experience on data center, commercial, industrial or water infrastructure projects.
• Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Structural Design.
• Bachelor's or diploma in civil or structural engineering, architecture or CAD, or equivalent experience.
