Job Description

Seeking a hands-on Senior RF Engineer to lead the design, development, and production of high-performance wireless/RF systems for autonomous platforms. Will own RF architecture, component selection, testing, and troubleshooting while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across hardware, firmware, and software teams.

Must Haves

• 5+ years of professional RF hardware design experience developing commercial or industrial products.
• BSEE required, MSEE preferred.
• End-to-end RF design: Experience designing RF systems from antenna through radio interface, including PCB design and layout.
• RF simulation tools: Strong experience with ADS, HFSS, or equivalent electromagnetic/RF simulation software.
• RF architecture: Expertise in link budgets, cascade analysis, component selection, and wireless system performance.
• Hardware debugging: Experience troubleshooting RF interference, signal degradation, and connectivity issues.
• Production experience: Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and RF verification/validation.
• Technical leadership: Experience owning RF projects, making architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers.

Nice to Haves

• Advanced degree in RF, microwaves, electromagnetics, or related field.
• Antenna design: Experience designing and simulating custom antennas for embedded systems.
• Manufacturing scale-up: Experience working with contract manufacturers and transitioning RF hardware into mass production.
• EMI/EMC expertise: Experience with RF desensitization, interference mitigation, and wireless coexistence.
• Automated RF testing: Python scripting or development of automated RF test frameworks.
• Background in UAVs, drones, robotics, aerospace, defense, or other wireless embedded systems.
