Senior Risk Analyst - Gopay Lending

About the Role

This role is central to our Credit Risk Strategy for merchant lending products including Gopay Pinjam Modal (GPPM) and Toko Kapital. Key challenges include balancing portfolio growth with risk mitigation and navigating complex merchant data to inform actionable decisions.

The person will be expected to assist in managing credit underwriting and account management. In order to support the deliverables, this person is also expected to quickly learn internal risk frameworks, establish relationships with key business stakeholders, and contribute to risk analysis and strategy execution.

What You Will Do

• Monitor and analyze key merchant risk metrics to uncover underlying trends and provide actionable insights.
• Evaluate and optimize current credit risk policies to ensure robust portfolio health and risk mitigation.
• Leverage SQL and Python to analyze complex datasets, driving continuous strategy enhancements and executing them via decision engines.
• Partner with cross-functional business teams to guide and support data-driven lending decisions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive risk dashboards to facilitate accurate, real-time reporting for stakeholders.
• Facilitate periodic credit reviews and internal audits to ensure compliance and uphold risk standards.
• Drive process improvement initiatives within the Credit Risk team to enhance overall operational efficiency.

What You Will Need

• At least 3 years of experience in credit risk management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of credit risk principles and lending products.
• Experience with data analysis tools (SQL/PYTHON, Excel, or BI tools).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

As a pivotal member of the Credit Risk function, this role manages merchant lending products, monitors portfolio health, and ensures policy compliance. A central objective is to strategically balance business growth with risk mitigation through the interpretation of complex merchant data.
