Senior Risk Analyst - Programme Delivery & Assurance

The role will have a strong focus on programme delivery risk, transition readiness and assurance, partnering with Project and Programme Managers and key stakeholders across multiple organisations.

What you'll be doing

• Identify, assess and manage delivery and readiness risks that could impact key programme milestones, stage gates and go-live
• Work across programme to ensure risks are proactively managed and mitigations are implemented
• Provide independent risk oversight and assurance throughout transition activities
• Provide clear visibility of risk exposure, mitigation progress and overall readiness
• Develop and maintain readiness criteria, checklists, risk registers and assurance matrices
• Analyse emerging risks and trends and provide practical recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Support and mentor Project and Programme Managers to strengthen risk and assurance practices

What we're looking for

You'll be a senior Risk / Assurance practitioner who is comfortable operating within a large, complex programme environment.

You'll bring:

• Strong experience in programme or project risk and assurance
• Experience supporting major transformation, transition or implementation programmes
• Strong risk assessment and mitigation capability
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, ideally across multiple organisations or agencies
• Experience producing risk, assurance and governance reporting for senior audiences
• The ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights
• Confidence working alongside and challenging senior Project and Programme Managers
• Experience developing practical risk frameworks, readiness assessments and assurance tools

Experience working within large government, infrastructure or technology-enabled transformation programmes would be particularly useful.

This could be a Fixed Term Contract where you would be an employee or as an hourly rate contract
