Senior Risk Management/ Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Risk Management Analyst to monitor betting activities, identify potential risks, and protect the company's profitability. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in sports betting or esports, and the ability to identify unusual betting patterns and suspicious transactions.

• Monitor and analyze sports and esports bets to protect company profit from abnormal bettors.
• Analyze sports markets to better understand member betting behavior.
• Perform broader analyses using turnover & P/L statistics, duplicate checking, and payment method transactions analysis.
• Create adhoc reports, update file databases, and complete tasks as needed by the company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Betting Monitoring and Risk Analysis

   • Monitor and analyze sports and esports betting activities to identify abnormal or suspicious betting patterns.
   • Assess potential financial risks and implement strategies to protect company profitability.

2. Market and Player Behavior Analysis

   • Analyze sports betting markets and trends to understand customer betting behavior.
   • Identify unusual betting activities and potential risks affecting business operations.

3. Data and Transaction Analysis

   • Conduct detailed analysis of betting turnover, Profit & Loss (P&L) statistics, and overall betting performance.
   • Perform duplicate account checking and payment transaction analysis to detect suspicious activities.

4. Reporting and Database Management

   • Prepare and generate ad hoc reports related to betting activities, risk assessments, and financial performance.
   • Maintain and update databases, monitoring files, and relevant records.
   • Perform other risk management tasks as assigned by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in Risk Management, Risk Analysis, Sports Betting, Esports, or the iGaming industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of betting markets, betting patterns, and risk monitoring procedures.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
