Senior Robotics Software Engineer

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field plus 2 years of related experience
• Develop real-time capable software in C++ for Linux
• Experience with benchmarking and improving jitter in end-to-end latency (1 yr)
• Use git and Bazel to build, test, and deploy vehicle software and firmware (1 yr)
• Develop pub-sub systems that interact with sensors and actuators on robotics systems via CAN and Ethernet (1 yr)
• Experience building end-to-end testing solutions for data-driven software, including unit, integration, HIL, and regression testing (1 yr)
• Implement vehicle software utilizing ROS and robotics software packages such as AOS, Flatbuffers, Protobufs (1 yr)
• May work remotely; periodic time in office required; must live within commuting distance of office
• Up to 20% domestic and international travel required for in-field testing, data collection, R&D, and system deployments at customer sites

• Leads cross-functional collaboration efforts, ensuring seamless integration of features and adherence to product specifications
• The employee participates in, and often leads, the design and development of software algorithms for intelligent agricultural robots/machines. Specifically, efforts are focused on improving the accuracy of and reducing the redundancy of commercial agricultural chemical applications used in the growing and cultivating of large-scale crops
