Senior Sales Engineer

TASKS:

• Proactively develop new business, hunt for new opportunities and close deals, visiting a minimum of 12 customers per week of which 20% should be new leads/customer development
• Acquire new customers in the Automotive, Electronics, Packaging industry in Eastern Area (Rayong, Chonburi and etc.)
• Meet up with customers and be the first interface to them for any requests and inquiries
• Prepare and demonstrate technical concepts and product information to customers. If required, together with the Service department
• Build/maintain and ensure an excellent relationship with existing customers and partners
• Be responsible for revenue, and gross profit and achieve your defined sales targets
• Promote and market Balluff products and solutions
• Plan/organize/participate in Trade fairs/Training/Road shows etc.
• Gather feedback market intelligence on competitor’s activities
• Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager when and where is needed

PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Controls or related fields
• Proficient in speaking and writing English
• Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience in industrial automation sales, specific experience with Tier 1 & 2 automotive suppliers is a huge plus
• Familiarity with PLC integration, industrial protocols
• Stay updated on Industry 4.0 trends like IO-Link, predictive maintenance, and edge computing
• Obtaining new leads and business development
• Actively grow and expand existing customers
• Existing network within customers for industrial automation in Thailand
• Passion for cold calling and customer communication
• Plan customers visit and provide weekly plan on Monday before 12:00PM
• Present weekly report to sales team on every Monday
• Own car and driving license is available
• Motivated to work in a young team
