Senior Sales Engineering Manager

About the role

Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales engineering team and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success. This role will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage sales engineering team to achieve revenue growth targets.
• Develop and implement technical sales strategies.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sales team.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Up to 25% travel required.

About you

• 10+ years of experience in sales engineering or related field with 5 or more years with customer facing experience.
• 5+ years leadership experience with technical sales teams, carrying a quota.
• Strong technical background, specifically in relation to networking hardware. Datacenter and Cloud based Solution experience a plus.
• Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
• Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information verbally and in writing to customers, peers, subordinates, and management.
• Ability to manage technical resources to meet business and revenue objectives.
• Multi-disciplinary technical knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with CRM and sales automation tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

More experienced candidates will be considered for Director role.
