Role: Senior Sales Associate
Department: Retail / Store Operations
Reports to: Store Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Welcome walk-in customers and guide them toward the eye-checkup/clinic.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable frames, lenses, sunglasses and accessories.
• Use information from the optometrist and customer to recommend the right products.
• Drive sales, eye-test conversion and return-rate targets.
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints to improve customer satisfaction.
• Operate the POS system and process transactions accurately.
• Coordinate product pickup/delivery and verify the fitted lenses before handover.
• Maintain stock, participate in stocktakes and identify inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain store hygiene, product displays and visual-merchandising standards.
• Follow Lenskart's SOPs and ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.

Eligibility / skills

• Typically 12th pass; graduates preferred.
• Strong communication and active-listening skills.
• Customer-oriented and target-driven.
• Ability to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Good knowledge of eyewear products is useful.
• Basic computer/POS knowledge.
• Ability to multitask and work in rotational shifts.

Career path: SSA Store Manager / higher retail operations roles, depending on performance and experience.
