It delivers premium, time-critical freight services to freight forwarders, airlines, third-party logistics providers and large enterprise shippers. The Role

Salesforce is the commercial and service engine of the business. It is where customer relationships, pipeline, account hierarchies, ownership and day-to-day customer service come together.

As Senior Salesforce Consultant / Solution Architect, you will own the design, delivery and reliability of the enterprise Salesforce platform across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud . You will cover the full customer lifecycle, from onboarding through case management and ongoing account operations.

You will own the complete SDLC: consulting with the business, architecting solutions, building on the platform, integrating with the wider enterprise and keeping production stable. Salesforce consumes the customer golden record from an Oracle Fusion CDM master. Through MuleSoft , it connects to transportation management, billing, order management and finance systems.

What You ll Do

Business Consulting Stakeholder Engagement

• Translate business objectives into Salesforce capabilities.

• Run requirements workshops, solution discovery and impact analysis.

• Advise Customer Service, Sales Operations, Credit and Billing teams on future-state processes.

• Provide technical guidance on account management, hierarchies, ownership and compensation.

Solution Architecture Design

• Design enterprise-grade solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and the customer lifecycle.

• Produce solution designs, architecture diagrams, process flows and technical specifications.

• Recommend scalable, secure designs aligned to Salesforce best practice and governor limits.

• Lead design reviews and platform architecture governance.

Platform Development

• Build with Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components and Flows.

• Deliver Platform Events, REST/SOAP APIs, Custom Objects, Custom Metadata, Validation Rules and Approval Processes.

• Enhance account and case management, routing, hierarchies, ownership and compensation.

• Build reusable, well-tested components and reduce technical debt.

Enterprise Integration

• Design and maintain integrations with MuleSoft, the customer master, TMS, billing, order management and ERP.

• Define integration architecture, authentication standards, asynchronous patterns and error handling.

• Monitor interfaces and resolve synchronisation and data-processing failures.

Production Support Reliability

• Resolve production incidents across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, integrations and automation.

• Monitor scheduled jobs, Batch and Queueable Apex, Platform Events, Flows and async processes.

• Lead root cause analysis so recurring issues get permanent fixes.

• Run proactive health checks to protect service levels and performance.

Data Management Reconciliation

• Reconcile data between Salesforce and integrated systems.

• Support migrations, bulk updates, duplicate management, cleansing and validation.

• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate fixes across enterprise applications.

Release, DevOps Quality

• Own the full SDLC: build, unit testing, SIT, UAT, deployment and post-release validation.

• Coordinate releases using DevOps and CI/CD best practice with strong deployment governance.

• Carry out code reviews and performance tuning, and enforce governor-limit compliance.

Technical Leadership

• Evaluate new Salesforce capabilities and recommend improvements.

• Mentor developers and administrators, and set coding standards.

• Maintain specifications, runbooks, architecture diagrams and knowledge articles.

• Integration health: reliable, timely interfaces with MuleSoft, the customer master, TMS and billing.

  What You ll Bring

Essential

• 8+ years of Salesforce experience across delivery and production support.

• Deep expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud , including case management and the customer lifecycle.

• Strong hands-on development with Apex, LWC, Flows and Platform Events .

• Proven experience with enterprise integrations using MuleSoft and APIs.

• Experience supporting large-scale production orgs and complex automation.

• Ownership of end-to-end SDLC and DevOps / CI/CD release practices.

Desirable

• Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect.

• Platform Developer II.

• Administrator and Advanced Administrator.

• Sales Cloud Consultant and Service Cloud Consultant.

• Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain or another high-volume, integration-heavy industry.

• Familiarity with an MDM platform, such as Oracle Fusion CDM, as an upstream source.

• Cloud experience, ideally Microsoft Azure.
