Senior Salesforce CPQ Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer contributes to business processes by leveraging technological solutions. You will join a brand new team that will focus on Integration with ServiceNow, new functionality for funding sources and other features.

Requirements:

* 5 years of application development experience

* 2+ years of experience with the Salesforce ecosystem and lightning framework

* Must have the knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX; Force.com APIs, Web Services, and Experience builder

* Must have knowledge and practical application of Salesforce CPQ, both out of the box and customizations

* Experience with source control systems like Azure DevOps, GIT

* Experience with the creation and maintenance of Salesforce / CPQ profiles, permission sets, and objects

* Experience in Salesforce CPQ integration with external systems and managed packages

* Deliver solutions in Agile methodology in CI/CD environment

* Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain productive working relationships cross-departmentally and cross-functionally

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* Strong organizational, planning, and creative problem-solving skills with critical attention to detail

* Demonstrated success in facilitation and solutions implementation

* Proven track record of leading application development projects

* History of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines

* Excellent customer-facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefings & demonstrations

* Ability to perform effective code reviews and recommend automated review tools for the team

Responsibilities:

* Execute all phases of the software development life cycle.

* Assess operational needs, costs, and resource requirements for assigned projects, collaborating with project managers as needed.

* Work in agile team alongside the Product Owner, applying Salesforce/CPQ best practices and design methodologies, such as use case analysis, object modeling, and UI design, to ensure alignment with business requirements and design objectives.

* Identify and address issues requiring attention, resolving them with a clear understanding of the underlying business problem.

* Make informed technical decisions aligned with the product roadmap, architecture standards, and management directives.

* Deliver projects and tasks in a timely manner, honoring commitments to stakeholders and management. Provide regular project/task status updates during daily scrums to the agile team, product owners, and product managers.
