Position: Senior Salesforce Engineer

Overview Our client is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to join their team to lead activities across requirement analysis, application design, development, and troubleshooting. In this role, you will drive the expansion of Salesforce usage, coordinate system integrations across development teams, and continuously enhance internal application performance. As the position evolves, you will also have the opportunity to take on future people management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Application Development & Maintenance: Design, code, test, and implement custom Salesforce applications and related tools, ensuring software stability, functionality, security, and integrity.
• System Integration & Solution Design: Analyze user requirements to deliver effective technical solutions, integrating Salesforce seamlessly with external and internal systems.
• Operations & Troubleshooting: Perform bug fixing, maintain system performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and support ongoing system optimization.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 3+ years of extensive experience in Salesforce platform development, implementation, operation, and maintenance.
• Deep technical expertise in Apex development, custom integrations, and technical solution design.
• Strong analytical skills to solve business problems and define system requirements.
• Collaborative communication style with an open-minded team approach.
• Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience as an Engineering Lead or in Project Management.
• Modern backend development experience (especially Java / Spring Framework) and frontend development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments, shell scripting, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
