About the Opportunity

CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP & Integration Suite Developer to support enterprise SAP modernization and cloud integration projects.

In this role, you will develop, improve, and connect SAP applications to help business systems communicate efficiently. You'll work with modern SAP technologies, including ABAP on HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Integration Suite (CPI) .

We're looking for someone with strong hands-on SAP development experience who can build both the backend applications and the integrations connecting SAP with other business systems.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP Development: Design, develop, and improve SAP applications using ABAP on HANA, Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, and AMDP.
• Application Integration: Build and maintain SAP Integration Suite (CPI) interfaces that allow SAP and external applications to exchange data smoothly.
• SAP S/4HANA Development: Develop and support OData services, SAP Gateway, RAP, and backend functionality for SAP Fiori applications.
• Integration Technologies: Work with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, SFTP, JDBC, and AS2 to connect different business applications.
• Interface Development: Develop and enhance SAP interfaces using BAPIs, RFCs, proxies, BADIs, user exits, and enhancement frameworks.
• System Modernization: Support migration of older SAP PI/PO integrations to SAP Integration Suite, including redesign, testing, and deployment.
• Cloud Solutions: Apply SAP BTP, clean-core development principles, and side-by-side extensions to support modern SAP environments.
• Security & Connectivity: Troubleshoot integration connections using OAuth, certificates, SAP Cloud Connector, and SAP BTP destinations.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve issues affecting ABAP programs, database performance, web services, and integration processes.
• Testing & Deployment: Prepare technical documentation, develop reports and SAP forms, conduct testing, and support production releases.
• Team Collaboration: Work with SAP functional consultants, architects, developers, and business teams to deliver solutions in Agile/DevOps environments.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall SAP technical experience , including at least 10 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development .
• Experience participating in at least two full-cycle SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementations or migrations .
• Strong hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and RAP .
• Proven experience independently designing, developing, deploying, and supporting SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI) interfaces.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies, including data mapping, interface monitoring, error handling, and secure connectivity.
• Strong understanding of SAP enhancements, backend services, and SAP Fiori application support.
• Experience troubleshooting SAP application performance and integration issues.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and clearly explain technical decisions.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment and travel as required .

Preferred Qualifications

The following experience would be an advantage:

• SAP API Management, Event Mesh, or Open Connectors.
• SAP BTP development and side-by-side extensions.
• SAP PI/PO migration to SAP Integration Suite.
• SAP Integration Advisor and B2B/EDI integrations.
• Git, CTS+, SAP transport management, and release coordination.
