Senior SAP Basis Consultant

Role overview

We are looking for a Senior SAP Basis resource with strong hands-on experience who can support both Run and Build activities across our SAP landscapes. This role requires a high level of autonomy, technical depth, and the ability to work closely with onshore teams and customers in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Beyond technical skills, the ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and ownership with a clear customer-service mindset. They should be comfortable operating within an offshore delivery model, working closely with India-based offshore resources and US-based delivery teams, with a genuine desire to help build a shared offshore team and potentially evolve into an offshore team management role within approximately 9 to 12 months, depending on the final operating model.

Key requirements

• Senior-level expertise in SAP Basis administration (SAP ABAP and SAP Java stacks)

• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in SAP Basis and managed services environments

• Strong experience with SAP system operations and troubleshooting, incident and problem management (including P1/P2 support), and upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities

• Proven ability to operate within and help manage an offshore delivery model.

• Experience in a multi-client managed services environment is a strong plus, with the ability to balance priorities across multiple customers while maintaining high service quality

• Consulting-oriented mindset: able to assess SAP environments, identify risks or improvement areas, and provide clear, actionable recommendations to customers

• Language skills: fluent in English; French proficiency required

• Working hours: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM Tunisia time (which corresponds to 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Eastern Time).

Nice to have

• SAP HANA / BTP administration

• SAP RISE and/or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Automation or scripting or OS-level knowledge

• Project management skills, particularly valuable given the expected evolution toward offshore team coordination and delivery oversight.
