Senior SAP BASIS Consultant

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior SAP BASIS Consultant for a contract engagement. In this role, you will act as a key technical resource driving high-impact infrastructure initiatives, environment migrations, and performance optimizations. This role focuses heavily on supporting our transformation to the cloud, specifically helping manage, architect, and optimize our RISE with SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• RISE Architecture & Governance: Serve as the primary technical liaison between the client and SAP for their RISE with SAP (Private/Public Cloud) environment. Drive the governance, submission, and validation of SAP Service Requests (SRs) and Cloud Application Services (CAS).
• Cloud Migration Execution: Technical leadership and execution for migrating legacy environments (On-Premise / AnyCloud) into the RISE with SAP ecosystem, ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Performance Tuning & Diagnostics: Conduct deep-dive root-cause analysis on complex performance issues within SAP HANA databases and application layers; optimize cloud resource allocations.
• Landscape Integration: Architect and maintain secure integrations, RFC connections, and Single Sign-On (SSO) between the RISE ERP core, SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), and the client's legacy third-party systems.
• Release & Transport Management: Establish and manage robust Transport Management System (TMS) strategies across a complex multi-tier cloud landscape, aligning with strict client change-management procedures.
• Client Advisory & Runbooks: Advise client stakeholders on BASIS best practices, mitigate technical delivery risks, and author flawless technical documentation, runbooks, and cutover strategies to ensure smooth project handoffs.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of dedicated SAP BASIS administration experience, with a proven history of success working within an IT consulting or professional services framework.
• RISE with SAP Expertise: Successful delivery or management of at least one live enterprise landscape deployed via RISE with SAP. Must understand how to navigate SAP's cloud delivery model and SLA structures.
• Advanced S/4HANA & HANA Skillset: Deep technical mastery of SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP HANA database management running on Linux.
• Consulting Polish: Exceptional client-facing communication, presentation, and advisory skills. Ability to explain complex technical risks to non-technical client stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Proven capability to join an active project mid-stream, decipher complex custom architectures quickly, and deliver immediate value.
• Upgrade Experience: S4 Upgrade and conversion experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active SAP Certified Technology Associate credentials (SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition or System Administration).
• Practical experience using SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager within a cloud framework.

Pay: From ₹500.00 per hour
