For a strategically important IT environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior SAP BTP Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) to support the further development and modernization of an existing SAP Business Technology Platform landscape.

The company is currently focusing on the strategic evolution of its IT platforms, improving system-to-system communication, modernizing customer-facing interfaces, and strengthening security across its SAP BTP environment.

The objective is to build a more flexible, scalable, and future-ready platform architecture while exploring new technological opportunities, including AI agents and intelligent automation.

The successful candidate will join a highly utilized team and play an important role in both technical implementation and the strategic development of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Further development, optimization, and modernization of the existing SAP BTP environment
• Design and implementation of modern applications and services using SAP BTP
• Fullstack development of frontend and backend components within the SAP ecosystem
• Modernization and further development of customer-facing interfaces
• Improvement of system-to-system integration and communication
• Implementation and enhancement of security concepts within the SAP BTP landscape
• Evaluation of new SAP BTP development approaches and technologies
• Contribution to the strategic development of a flexible and scalable platform architecture
• Evaluation of potential use cases for AI agents and AI-driven automation within the existing IT landscape
• Technical coordination and project management of SAP BTP-related initiatives
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders and development teams

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of practical, hands-on SAP BTP experience
• Significantly longer professional experience in IT and software development
• Proven experience developing and implementing solutions directly within SAP BTP
• Strong understanding of modern development approaches and capabilities within SAP BTP
• Experience in frontend and backend development
• Experience with system integration, interfaces, and communication between different IT systems
• Knowledge of security concepts and requirements within SAP BTP
• Ability to contribute to both technical implementation and strategic platform development
• Experience in technical project coordination or project management

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, OData and REST APIs
• Knowledge of SAP CAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, Java or Node.js
• Experience with SAP BTP security and identity management
• Knowledge of cloud-native application development
• Interest in AI agents, intelligent automation and emerging AI technologies

Important

We are specifically looking for someone with real implementation experience in SAP BTP, not someone who has only acquired theoretical knowledge or completed introductory training.

The ideal candidate has already delivered SAP BTP solutions in production environments, understands modern development approaches, and can actively contribute to the technical and strategic evolution of the platform.

The focus is on hands-on development, security, system integration and platform modernization, rather than simply migrating existing systems to SAP BTP.
