Senior Sap Fico Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design SAP FICO solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
• Configure and customize SAP FI and CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and CO-PA.
• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP, PS, and other SAP modules.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements.
• Conduct system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and production support.
• Perform data migration, master data validation, and financial reconciliation activities.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes and statutory reporting.
• Provide end-user training, create project documentation, and deliver knowledge transfer sessions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, implement change requests, and ensure compliance with SAP best practices.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solution recommendations, and manage project deliverables.
• Ensure system stability, optimize business processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
• Strong expertise in SAP FI and CO configuration with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation and multiple support or rollout projects.
• Sound knowledge of financial accounting, controlling, taxation, and financial reporting processes.
• Experience integrating SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP, PS, and other SAP modules.
• Proficiency in preparing functional specifications, conducting UAT, and supporting go-live activities.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP Activate methodology, LSMW, and data migration processes is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.
