We are seeking a Senior Joule Developer who can architect, build, and optimize Joule‑powered solutions that deliver measurable business impact for our clients.

Role Summary

The Senior Joule Developer will lead the design and development of advanced SAP Joule use cases, extensions, and integrations across SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP BTP, and other SAP cloud applications. This role requires deep SAP technical expertise, strong AI engineering capabilities, and the ability to translate business processes into intelligent, automated workflows.

You will serve as a technical leader within the Maitsys AI practice, guiding junior developers, collaborating with architects, and engaging directly with clients to deliver high‑value Joule solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement complex Joule use cases across multiple SAP modules and business domains.
• Design enterprise‑grade Joule prompts, workflows, and conversational experiences aligned with client requirements.
• Build custom Joule extensions using SAP Generative AI Hub, SAP AI Core, CAP, SAP Build Apps, and SAP Build Process Automation .
• Integrate Joule with SAP and non‑SAP systems using OData, REST APIs, BTP Integration Suite, and event‑driven architectures .
• Lead technical discussions, solution design workshops, and client demos showcasing Joule capabilities.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams to map business processes into Joule‑enabled automation flows.
• Ensure data readiness, governance, and security for Joule deployments.
• Mentor and guide junior Joule developers and SAP BTP engineers.
• Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of Joule interactions.
• Produce high‑quality technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and best‑practice guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–12 years of SAP technical development experience (ABAP, BTP, CAP, integrations).
• Hands‑on experience with SAP BTP Extension Suite , including CAP (Node.js/Java), SAP Build, and workflow automation.
• Strong understanding of SAP cloud applications (S/4HANA Cloud, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur).
• Experience with AI/ML engineering , prompt design, or enterprise conversational AI platforms.
• Ability to architect scalable, secure, and governed AI workflows.
• Deep knowledge of SAP integration patterns (OData, REST, RFC, IDoc, CPI).
• Strong consulting skills — ability to lead client conversations, gather requirements, and present solutions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with SAP Joule (highly preferred).
• SAP BTP certifications (Developer, Extension Suite, Integration Suite).
• Experience with SAP AI Core, SAP Generative AI Hub, or other enterprise AI platforms.
• Background in automation tools (SAP Build Process Automation, UiPath, Power Automate).
• Prior consulting experience with global clients.
