Senior SAP Program Manager

About The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager / Program Delivery Manager to lead a major SAP S/4HANA transformation program for a large Australian organisation.

The program is at the early mobilisation stage , providing an opportunity for an experienced delivery leader to establish the foundations for successful execution and take ownership of delivery across a complex enterprise environment.

This is a highly visible transformation requiring strong leadership across business, technology, vendors and system integrators.

The role

You will provide end-to-end program leadership, working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to establish governance, manage delivery dependencies and drive the program through its key implementation stages.

You will be expected to be a hands-on delivery leader who can operate strategically with executives while remaining close enough to the detail to identify issues, remove blockers and keep delivery moving.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation program.
• Establish and maintain program governance, reporting and delivery cadence.
• Drive program mobilisation, planning and execution.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams, delivery teams and external partners.
• Manage system integrators and third-party vendors.
• Lead senior stakeholder and steering committee engagement.
• Drive migration, testing, cutover and go-live planning.
• Ensure business readiness and transition to BAU.
• Manage interdependencies across business, technology, data, integration and change.
• Provide clear executive-level reporting on progress, risks and delivery outcomes.
• Identify delivery blockers and proactively drive resolution.
• Ensure the program remains aligned to business outcomes and transformation objectives.

RequirementsAbout You You will be an experienced Program Manager, Program Director, Delivery Manager or Senior Project Manager with a strong track record delivering complex ERP/SAP transformation programs.

You Will Ideally Bring

• Significant SAP program/project delivery experience.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Experience delivering ERP transformation or migration programs.
• Experience taking programs through mobilisation, implementation and go-live.
• Strong understanding of data migration, integration, testing and cutover.
• Proven vendor and system integrator management experience.
• Strong executive and senior stakeholder management capability.
• Experience managing complex dependencies and multiple workstreams.
• Strong commercial, risk and governance capability.
• A practical, delivery-focused approach.

Industry experience

Experience in utilities, energy, resources, mining, infrastructure, government or another large asset-intensive enterprise environment will be highly regarded.

You should be someone who doesn't simply report that a program is behind — you work out why, mobilise the right people and drive it forward.
