Senior Satellite System Engineer/Architect - GEO Satellite Experience

Senior Satellite System Engineer/Architect - Design Authority - Greenfield Programme - Luxembourg (Hybrid)

I'm currently working with our number one Satellite Communication client on their search for a hands-on senior engineer/architect who has proven experience in delivering GEO satellites into service.

This role is a greenfield programme to launch a new constellation of satellites.

You would need to understand spacecraft platform design particularly well, and capable of co-engineering the overall spacecraft with external platform and payload suppliers, making system-level engineering trade-offs and ensuring the complete satellite works as one system.

You would act as the technical owner of the end-to-end satellite system design and responsible for ensuring that the platform, payload, ground interface, operations concepts, customer requirements are mission-successful.

Freelance contract, but there is already intention from the client to offer permanent role later (if mutually agreed). Preference for those who can work on-site more often, but it is not a requisite to be there weekly. You would have to travel to the site in Luxembourg at least once per month.

This role is exclusive to Empiric with interview slots already confirmed in the diary for week commencing 28th September. Interested? Apply here and I will call you directly.

No sponsorship possible for this role.
