Senior Scientist – Analytics & Stability

We are supporting an established pharmaceutical organisation with the appointment of a Scientist/Senior Scientist within its analytical development function.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute analytical studies supporting product development.
• Perform analytical characterisation and stability assessments.
• Support analytical method development, optimisation and transfer.
• Generate, analyse and interpret data using established analytical techniques.
• Investigate product degradation and changes in analytical profiles.
• Support investigations into analytical deviations and atypical results.
• Prepare clear scientific reports and technical documentation.
• Work closely with formulation, development and other technical teams.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure activities are documented in accordance with relevant quality and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related scientific discipline, or a relevant Master's degree with industry experience.
• Experience working with protein-based or biopharmaceutical products.
• Strong practical experience with HPLC/UPLC and/or capillary electrophoresis.
• Knowledge of analytical development, stability and protein characterisation.
• Familiarity with relevant pharmaceutical guidelines and investigation processes.
• Strong scientific writing and data interpretation skills.
• Fluent English required; German is advantageous.
