Senior Security & Resilience Lead

Context

We are looking for a high-calibre, trilingual individual to act as a trusted execution powerhouse within our Cyber & Information Security Office. As a Senior Security & Resilience Lead, you will be assigned to high-priority, often cross-functional topics—ranging from resilience, cybersecurity capability uplift, and risk mitigation, to tooling assessments and writing RFPs. This is not a coordinator or program manager role. You will lead with direct impact, often under high visibility and short timelines, working across the organization to deliver results that matter. You must be autonomous, structured, fast-moving, and equally comfortable building your own slides, Excel trackers, and C-level briefings as you are navigating stakeholder dynamics. You own your work from concept to execution.

Missions

• Take ownership of strategic security and resilience-related initiatives, regardless of the specific topic area.
• Translate complex regulatory, technical, or risk requirements into tangible deliverables.
• Write and coordinate Request for Proposal (RFP) documents that are complete, precise, and aligned with business and compliance needs.
• Engage with and align stakeholders from Security, IT, Legal, Risk, Procurement, and Business Units to secure buy-in and execution support.
• Design and drive disaster recovery and continuity planning initiatives, including test coordination.
• Identify derailments or inefficiencies in ongoing efforts and bring them back to a structured, results-driven path.
• Deliver high-quality communication: slide decks, status reporting, risk summaries, CISO-level dashboards, and executive briefings.
• Support the adoption of NIS2 requirements, ISO standards, and internal cybersecurity and continuity policies.
• Manage interactions with third-party vendors and service providers as needed.
• Coach and challenge teams across departments to raise the bar in delivery, accountability, and security posture.

1. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent
2. At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, continuity, or transformation topics—particularly in regulated or critical infrastructure environments
3. Demonstrated ability to lead through execution, not hierarchy
4. Proven ability to write and manage RFPs, including vendor evaluation and alignment with internal needs
5. Experience recovering, realigning, and executing complex efforts under pressure
6. Familiarity with NIS2, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and public-sector regulatory environments
7. Able to build structure where there is none, and drive clarity where there is ambiguity
8. Trilingual (Dutch, French, English) – written and spoken fluency required
9. At least two of the following certifications or equivalent: Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI/PMP), Change Management (e.g., ADKAR), Cybersecurity Certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Auditor), IT Audit (CISA, ISA)
