The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer who can secure enterprise systems, translate mission needs into practical technical solutions, support customer-facing engagements, and help deliver cybersecurity and emerging technology initiatives in the United States and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior technical resource for CRDF Global’s enterprise cybersecurity environment, including security controls, compliance monitoring, risk remediation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support security architecture across cloud, identity, endpoints, networks, email, vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Translate program, customer, and mission requirements into secure, practical, and scalable technical solutions.
  • Develop technical narratives, solution diagrams, implementation plans, assumptions, and cost inputs for proposals and customer engagements.
  • Evaluate cybersecurity, cloud, data, AI, and emerging technology tools and recommend solutions based on mission fit, security, interoperability, cost, and sustainability.
  • Participate in customer discovery sessions, technical discussions, demonstrations, proofs of concept, pilots, assessments, and implementation activities.
  • Collaborate with IT, programs, business development, vendors, partners, and customers to deliver secure and effective technology solutions.
  • Support domestic and international technology projects, including assessments, deployments, documentation, knowledge transfer, and sustainability planning.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, systems engineering, solution architecture, or related technology roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity architecture, operations, risk management, and compliance frameworks such as CMMC, NIST 800-171, or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Experience with Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, endpoint management, identity, and security services.
  • Experience with security technologies such as EDR/XDR, SIEM, network security, vulnerability management, email security, identity security, and cloud security.
  • Ability to translate business or mission requirements into technical solutions and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CISSP strongly preferred; additional certifications such as CCSP, CISM, Security+, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Cisco, or other relevant vendor certifications are a plus.
  • Experience supporting government, international development, nonprofit, or federally regulated cybersecurity environments.
  • Experience with technical proposals, capture support, solution architecture, or customer-facing technology engagements.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture, hybrid cloud environments, automation, AI, data platforms, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience implementing or supporting technology solutions in international or resource-constrained environments.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical, programmatic, business development, vendor, partner, and customer teams.
