Senior Security Engineer

About the role

Senior Security Engineer serving as Team Lead of the Professional Services team. The role requires deep technical expertise in implementing real security systems with on-site infrastructure and previous experience in support and troubleshooting of technical issues. This is a hands-on engineering position, not a monitoring or SOC alert analysis role.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, and configure security solutions for clients such as Firewall, IPS/IDS, WAF, VPN, NAC, Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR), PAM, SIEM and other assigned solutions
• Conduct on-site and remote implementation work from design, deployment through go-live across Bangkok and other provinces, including outside business hours
• Serve as technical escalation point when the team encounters unresolvable technical issues
• Troubleshoot problems occurring at client sites both before and after go-live
• Manage the Professional Services team, distribute work, and mentor team members
• Collaborate with Presales and Project Manager teams on scope definition, POC, and technical consultation
• Prepare technical documentation such as As-Built Documents, SOP, Run Book, Manual Guide and others
• Manage implementation project timelines according to plan
• Work with vendors and support teams to resolve complex technical issues
• Provide training on usage, troubleshooting, and management of security solutions to clients

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT or related field
• 5 years or more experience in Network/Infrastructure Security as an Engineer/Implementation role
• Expertise in Network: Routing, Switching, VPN, Firewall, Load Balancer, SIEM, Server (Windows, Linux) and others
• Hands-on implementation experience with at least 1-2 solution brands such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point, or others, with real on-site support and troubleshooting experience, not just theoretical knowledge
• Hands-on approach, capable of handling difficult technical problems, with can-do attitude
• Able to communicate directly with clients, demonstrate leadership, or have experience leading or training junior team members
• Flexible with working hours and able to provide support outside business hours in some cases
• Professional certifications such as Vendor Certification (Fortinet, PaloAlto, Checkpoint, Cisco, etc.) will be given special consideration
• Able to work independently and as part of a team with others
• Punctual, highly responsible, compliant with company policies and regulations, and obedient to supervisors
• Good English communication skills
