Senior Security Officer

About the role

This is an in-house Security Supervisor Operations (SSO) position aligned with the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) and PLRD guidelines. You will monitor and operate security and safety systems, regulate access and traffic, manage key security, respond to incidents and emergencies, and provide liaison support for law enforcement and compliance duties on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and operate security and safety systems, including the Central Alarm Monitoring System (CAMS), Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems, fire command systems, and access control infrastructure
• Regulate vehicle and pedestrian traffic in compliance with the Road Traffic Act
• Manage visitor access, crowd control, and delivery logs
• Oversee the security of premises keys and manage the key press logbook to ensure strictly authorized entry and tracking
• Assist in emergency management, execute evacuation drills, and act as the primary operational support for the Security Supervisor during structural incidents, fire, or medical emergencies
• Assist ministries, statutory boards, or government departments in basic law enforcement or compliance duties on-site

About you

• Valid PLRD License
• Successfully cleared mandatory Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) modules: Provide Guard and Patrol Services, Handle Security Incidents and Services, Recognise Terrorist Threats (RTT), Manage Disorderly Conduct and Threatening Behaviour, Operate Basic Security Equipment (Access Control Management), and Perform Remote Surveillance Function
• Minimum of 6 months of continuous, proven experience working as a licensed Security Officer (SO) in Singapore
• Strong communication and literacy skills with English proficiency required for writing incident logs and communicating with stakeholders

• Overtime Pay capped at a maximum of 72 hours per month according to MOM and PLRD regulations
