Senior Security Officer - Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control & Visitor Management

  • Monitor and control access to the embassy premises.
  • Verify the identity of staff, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure all visitors comply with security procedures and are properly registered.
  • Prevent unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.

• Patrol Duties

  • Conduct routine and scheduled patrols of the embassy's interior and exterior areas.
  • Inspect facilities for security risks, safety hazards, or suspicious activities.
  • Ensure security equipment and emergency exits are functioning and accessible.

• Incident Handling

  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, security breaches, alarms, and other incidents.
  • Take appropriate action in accordance with established security procedures.
  • Coordinate with embassy management and emergency services when required.
  • Prepare initial incident assessments and assist in investigations.

• Reporting

  • Prepare accurate daily occurrence reports, incident reports, and shift handover notes.
  • Maintain detailed records of security activities and observations.
  • Report any security concerns, maintenance issues, or irregularities to the Site Supervisor or management promptly.

• Customer Service

  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to embassy staff, visitors, and guests.
  • Handle enquiries with professionalism while maintaining strict security standards.
  • Represent the organization with integrity and professionalism at all times.

• Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with embassy security protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support emergency drills and security exercises as required.

Requirements

• Valid PLRD Security Officer Licence.
• Valid Driving Licence.
• CSSPB, CSSXR, PAPP, First Aid Cert Required
• Previous experience in security operations; experience in embassy, government, or high-security environments is an advantage.
• Able to work on a rotating roster of any 5 days between Monday and Sunday, including weekends and public holidays.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Good computer skills, including the ability to prepare reports and maintain security records.
• Able to perform manual tasks and able to conduct regular patrols.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Senior Security Officer certification or relevant supervisory experience.
• Experience in access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and incident management.
• Basic first aid or emergency response training is an advantage.
