Senior Security Operations (SPX Express)

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

• Oversee end-to-end security operations across Sorting Centers, Hubs, Warehouses, and Last Mile facilities to ensure a safe and secure logistics network.
• Develop and implement security strategies to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across SPX.
• Establish preventive measures to minimize parcel losses, theft, fraud, and operational misconduct while safeguarding company assets.
• Manage complex security incidents, investigations, and crisis response to ensure timely resolution and business continuity.
• Leverage technology, automation, data analytics, and security systems to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen security capabilities.
• Establish security policies, SOPs, and control frameworks to ensure consistent security standards across the logistics network.
• Oversee security service providers, optimize resource allocation, and drive performance improvements through KPIs and operational insights.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, Legal, and other stakeholders to deliver strategic security improvements and support business growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Security Management, Risk Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Security Operations, Loss Prevention, Risk Management, Corporate Security, or related functions, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or large-scale operations.
• Proven leadership experience in managing security operations across multiple sites, including warehouses, distribution centers, or logistics facilities.
• Strong expertise in risk assessment, loss prevention, fraud investigation, incident management, and crisis response.
• Experience in security strategy and transformation, including process improvement, security technology implementation, and operational efficiency enhancement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data, security KPIs, and operational insights to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills, with experience collaborating with senior management, cross-functional teams, and external security vendors.
• Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive security improvements across a large-scale logistics network.
