Role Overview

Our client, a global provider of enterprise-level physical security solutions for mission-critical facilities, is seeking Senior Security Project Engineers to work on a wide array of ongoing projects across EMEA for high-value clients within their portfolio.

Travel Expectation and Compensation

This is a travel-intensive role where you will get the chance to work across multiple high-profile projects at high-security / data centre facilities in a wide array of European countries, including Germany, Belgium, Ireland, and Finland to name a few. If you enjoy travelling, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures (whilst having all travel, accommodation, and food compensated for!), this could be a brilliant opportunity for you.

Typical rota: 3-4 weeks on, 1 week off

Salary: up to €85,000 per annum (DOE) + benefits outlined above + additional standard company benefits

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance requirements and performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory.

• Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision
• Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and safety audits
• Installing and maintaining equipment at both a local and global level, as per design packages
• Programming and installing head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection and CCTV systems
• Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and / or hardware at both a local and global level
• Leading on-site software commissioning and testing
• Leading inspections, evaluations, and inventory
• Performing take-off project drawings
• Creating, documenting, and tracking RFIs
• Design assistance and feedback
• Documenting daily reports and project progress
• Communicating project and team member issues / concerns to management
• Creating and managing project schedule integration of intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV systems
• Forecasting and managing project labour hours
• Communicating effectively with Supervisors and subordinates
• Guiding and mentoring Technicians

Experience Required

• 8+ years of electronics installation and / or maintenance experience for multiple systems and with multiple customer programs (with at least 3 years of this experience being within the Electronic Security Systems space)
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated time management and organisation skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives
• Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Skills are a plus

Key Requirements

• Hold a valid driver's license; the position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle
• Happy to stay away from home for 3-4 weeks (on average) at any one time

Qualifications

Vendor certifications in multiple intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV systems (C-CURE, Lenel, Identiv / Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, Bosch DIVAR, Aiphone, FFT, Windows operating systems) and experience in installing these systems.
