Senior Security Research Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Security Research Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a hospitality and recreation environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $175,500 – $263,300 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced Global Vulnerability Management workstreams, focusing on Threat Exposure Management improvements
• Translate annual TEM goals into actionable delivery plans and monitor progress for improving outcomes
• Conduct hands-on vulnerability research and validate security conditions to eliminate false positives
• Enhance vulnerability discovery across diverse technology environments including networks and cloud
• Partner with Information Security teams to clarify roles and ensure effective remediation execution

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in information security or related fields with focus on vulnerability management and exposure management
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related discipline
• Proven track record of leading complex technical workstreams and achieving measurable objectives across teams without direct authority
• Hands-on experience in vulnerability research, technical analysis, and security validation across various technology domains
• Proficiency with scripting and programming to enhance security analysis, using languages like Python or Bash
