Senior Security Support Analyst

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Security Support Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will focus on supporting security operations through incident investigation, threat analysis, and risk assessment. The analyst will partner with technical teams and business stakeholders to strengthen defenses, improve detection, and support clear decision-making across the organization. It is a hands-on position that requires translating complex security findings into practical recommendations for both technical and executive audiences.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $106,700 – $148,250 annually

Responsibilities

• Analyze security incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
• Evaluate cyber threat vectors and attacker methodologies
• Conduct log analysis and network traffic assessments to enhance the security posture
• Collaborate with teams on security control assessments and architecture design
• Develop clear and actionable security recommendations for technical and executive audiences

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident investigation and risk assessment
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network security applications
• Experience with NIST, ISO, HIPAA, and PCI compliance frameworks
• Proven ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and executive audiences
• Critical thinking skills to identify root causes and implement preventive measures
