Senior SERDES Customer System Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Customer System & SERDES Engineer to drive system-level debugging and customer issue resolution for 200–400G high-speed interfaces (SERDES, PCS/PMA). You will own end-to-end issue analysis—from triage to root cause and closure—collaborating across cross-functional teams and directly with customers. A key aspect of this role is scaling our debugging operations by building AI-assisted tools (RAG/LLM, log analysis pipelines) and identifying recurring failure patterns. While AI and automation are key enablers, the core focus remains hands-on system debugging and deep technical ownership.

Main Requirements and Qualifications

• Strong system-level debugging experience in complex hardware/software systems
• Hands-on experience with high-speed interfaces such as SERDES, PCS/PMA, Ethernet, PCIe, or similar high-speed communication systems
• Experience analyzing system logs, failure data, or large-scale engineering datasets
• Strong understanding of system bring-up, validation, or product-level debugging flows
• Proven ability to perform end-to-end root cause analysis of complex system issues
• Ability to work across multiple engineering domains (system, firmware, software, design, validation)
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive technical issues to closure
• Experience working directly with customers or external stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical issues clearly
• Ability to coordinate across global or cross-functional engineering teams
• Experience in semiconductor, networking, or high-speed interconnect products
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.) for debugging or automation
• Experience building engineering tools, dashboards, or internal utilities
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts, especially RAG, LLMs, or knowledge-based systems (not required but a plus)
• Interest in improving engineering productivity through automation and AI-assisted
