SENIOR SERVICE ENGINEER

The Senior Service Engineer will be responsible for delivering comprehensive after‑sales support for 3‑phase electrical and digital systems across Karnataka. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization of installed equipment, as well as acting as the primary service coordinator for the 1Ph department. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and field teams to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold NEDS’s high standards of service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide on‑site and remote troubleshooting for 3‑phase systems post‑sale.
• Coordinate service schedules, dispatch technicians, and track job progress.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on electrical and digital equipment.
• Document service reports, root‑cause analyses, and corrective actions in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement design improvements based on field feedback.
• Train junior service staff and customers on proper operation and maintenance procedures.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely availability for critical repairs.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in after‑sales service of 3‑phase electrical systems.
• Proven track record in service coordination and team leadership.
• Strong diagnostic skills and hands‑on experience with digital control systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Kannada.
• Ability to travel across Karnataka and work flexible hours as needed.
• Familiarity with industry standards (IEC, IS) and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using service management software and MS Office suite.
