Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with 8+ years of overall ServiceNow experience and strong hands-on expertise across Customer Service Management (CSM), Integrations, CMDB, and Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD).

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, project managers, and development teams to deliver scalable and high-quality ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Development

• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, ACLs, Notifications, Scheduled Jobs, and Workflows/Flow Designer.
• Develop reusable and scalable solutions following ServiceNow best practices.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and defect resolution.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

CSM Customer Service Management

• Hands-on experience implementing and customizing ServiceNow CSM solutions.
• Experience with Case Management, Customer/Consumer Management, Accounts, Contacts, Interaction Management, and Customer Service Workflows.
• Configure CSM applications, business rules, flows, portals, and related integrations.
• Understand customer service processes and translate business requirements into ServiceNow solutions.

ServiceNow Integrations

• Design and develop integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications.
• Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, Web Services, and Import Set.
• Develop and troubleshoot inbound and outbound integrations.
• Experience with data transformation, authentication mechanisms, error handling, and integration monitoring.
• Exposure to integration patterns and best practices for enterprise ServiceNow implementations.

CMDB

• Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB architecture and Configuration Items (CIs).
• Experience with CI classes, relationships, identification and reconciliation, data sources, and CMDB data population.
• Experience working with Discovery and/or Service Mapping is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot CMDB data quality and configuration issues.
• Understanding of CSDM and its relationship with CMDB is preferred.

HRSD – Human Resources Service Delivery

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HRSD implementations and customizations.
• Experience with HR Case Management, HR Services, HR Catalog, Employee Center, HR Workflows, and HR Knowledge Management.
• Configure HR services, case types, workflows/flows, notifications, and employee-facing experiences.
• Experience integrating HRSD with other enterprise applications is preferred.
• Understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR service delivery is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• ServiceNow: 8+ years of hands-on experience.
• Strong scripting knowledge in JavaScript.
• ServiceNow development and configuration.
• Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs.
• Flow Designer and Workflow.
• REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
• MID Server and Import Sets.
• CMDB and CSDM.
• CSM and HRSD.
• ServiceNow portals / Employee Center.
• Update Sets, Application Repository, deployment and release processes.
• Debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• One or more relevant CIS certifications, particularly CSM, HRSD, or Discovery.
• Experience working on enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow upgrade-safe development practices.
• Experience working with multiple ServiceNow modules and cross-platform integrations.

Required Skills
