Senior Settlement Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily settlement operations for local, overseas, bond and derivatives markets accurately and on time.
• Handle client funds deposit and withdrawal, client physical deposit and withdrawal instructions, trade records and settlement instructions.
• Support CCASS/ DCASS operations, stock movements, nominee services and corporate actions.
• Perform cash, stock and holdings reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
• Liaise with internal teams, brokers, custodians, banks and counterparties on settlement matters.
• Prepare settlement reports, maintain proper records and support ad hoc operational tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above
• At least 2 years of relevant settlement experience in securities brokerage industry
• Familiar with major settlement systems
• Good command of spoken and written English and Putonghua is a must
• Mature, self-initiative and able to work under pressure
