Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Siemens Opcenter MES developer with strong hands-on experience in MES development, configuration, customization, and system integration. The candidate should understand manufacturing processes and be able to convert business requirements into scalable MES solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize Siemens Opcenter MES solutions.
• Configure workflows, screens, business rules, reports, and production processes.
• Integrate Opcenter MES with ERP, PLM, SCADA, PLC, WMS, LIMS, Quality, and other systems.
• Develop and support APIs, web services, database procedures, and system interfaces.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Work with business and manufacturing teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support SIT, UAT, deployment, go-live, upgrades, and production support.
• Troubleshoot MES issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Prepare technical and functional documentation.
• Work with global and cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance when required.

Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on Siemens Opcenter MES experience.
• Strong understanding of MES and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with MES configuration, development, and customization.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of .NET, Java, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Experience in testing, deployment, production support, and troubleshooting.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Manufacturing / MES Knowledge

Candidates should have experience with some of the following:

• Production execution and work orders
• Material and lot traceability
• Dispatching and scheduling
• Equipment and labor tracking
• Electronic work instructions
• Quality and non-conformance
• Genealogy and production reporting
• Manufacturing master data

Good to Have

• Integration with SAP/Oracle or other ERP systems
• Experience with SCADA, PLC, WMS, LIMS, or PLM
• Cloud / DevOps / CI-CD / Git
• Industry 4.0 / Smart Factory / Digital Manufacturing
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, electronics, semiconductor, or discrete manufacturing
• Siemens Opcenter certification
