Senior Simulation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer with expertise in computational modeling and simulation for electronic and electromechanical systems used in medical devices. The role focuses on SI/PI, electromagnetic analysis, and system-level modeling to evaluate and optimize product performance, reliability, and robustness. The engineer will drive simulation-driven design, reduce physical prototyping, accelerate development timelines, and support regulatory submissions.

Important Note:

Candidate must already be residing in the USA with valid work authorization/visa permitting employment in the U.S. and be available for onsite deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

o Perform SI/PI analysis for high-speed interfaces.

o Develop validated electrical simulation models under varying operating conditions.

o Conduct trade studies and sensitivity analyses to support engineering decisions.

o Contribute to virtual prototyping initiatives to reduce design iterations.

o Present simulation findings and design recommendations to stakeholders.

o Maintain documentation of methodologies, assumptions, validation, and results.

o Support design reviews and verification activities with simulation-based analysis.

Preferred Skills:

o Transmission line theory, PCB design, and power distribution networks.

o Tools: Ansys HFSS, Ansys SIwave, Cadence, CST Studio Suite, Altium.

o Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout.

o Programming/scripting in Python, MATLAB, Tcl for automation and data analysis.

o EMI/EMC fundamentals. o Background in medical devices, consumer electronics, or embedded systems.

Required Skills:

o Perform Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis for high-speed digital interfaces (DDR4, DDR5, MIPI, USB).

o Develop simulation models for impedance discontinuities, crosstalk, timing margins, and electromagnetic compatibility.

o Conduct pre-layout and post-layout PCB/package analyses.

o Apply electromagnetic, circuit, and system-level simulation techniques to optimize product design.

o Support regulatory submissions and design verification with simulation-based evidence.

o Collaborate with hardware, firmware, systems, and manufacturing teams to resolve performance issues.
