Senior Site Engineer

About the role

Oversees and supervises daily site construction and operational activities, coordinating staff and contractors to ensure projects are completed according to schedule, specifications, quality standards, and workflows. Monitors progress, resources, and site activities for efficient and timely execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise, and implement ongoing projects; ensure revenue recognition and collections are on time
• Make budget decisions up to RMB 5k
• Monitor project costs and actual financial status
• Track project progress using Gantt charts
• Approve purchase requisitions for procurement
• Supervise site activities, ensuring compliance with schedule, requirements, and standards
• Guide Site Supervisors, Team Leaders, and subcontractors
• Review progress reports and highlight delays or risks
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment
• Ensure quality of site works against drawings and specifications

About you

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field
• 5 years' experience in cooling tower erection, service, and dismantling
• 8 years' technical knowledge in mechanical, site supervision, and HVAC systems
• Strong leadership skills as Team Leader / Senior Project Engineer
• Good understanding of contract review and company standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and Office
• Strong planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management skills
• Analytical, problem-solving, and risk management abilities
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written, as the role requires regular communication with English and Mandarin-speaking clients and business partners.
• Willing and able to work overseas, with Singapore as the primary posting location
